Number and track your invoices
Every invoice has a unique, sequential number. A register showing the issue date, due date and payment status prevents things being forgotten.
Chase unpaid invoices
An automatically calculated 'days overdue' column flags the invoices to chase. Start with the largest amounts.
Prepare VAT
Keep amounts excluding VAT, VAT and amounts including VAT in separate columns. Collected VAT minus deductible VAT gives the base of your return, to be checked with your accountant.
